*TRAVEL NEWS* *IRISH RAIL* Bus transfers are currently in operation between Roscommon and Westport due to an incident on the line. *MAIN TRAFFIC* *N17/GALWAY* There are currently 15-20 minute delays on the N17 Galway/Sligo Rd through Tuam. This is due to temporary traffic lights in place at the Weir Rd jct. *LIMERICK* The Croom/Bruff Rd (R516) is closed from Noonan’s Cross to Bruff for works until late November. Diversions are in place. *N5/ROSCOMMON* The N5 Longford/Westport Rd will close between Frenchpark and Ballingare between 7am-7pm daily until tomorrow (3rd). Allow 15 minutes extra for your journey if travelling along this route.

*CITY TRAFFIC* *GALWAY* Traffic is very slow inbound on the Dublin Rd and slow but moving outbound on the Docks. *LIMERICK* No problems to report for Limerick City traffic so far this afternoon. * Works take place on the N24 Limerick/Tipperary Rd, (Ballysimon Rd) outside Limerick City between Milltown & Clooncunna Nth. A stop/go system is in place from 8am to 8pm daily until the end of September and up to 15 minute delays are to be expected. *CORK* Traffic is moving well around Cork City at this time. *WATERFORD* No delays or incidents reported in Waterford City this afternoon. *ELECTRIC PICNIC* * Electric Picnic will take place at Stradbally Hall from Fri 3rd to Sun 5th Sept. Most traffic can be expected on Friday afternoon and evening, and also on Monday morning. However, parking for camper vans will be open from 7:30pm this evening and extra traffic should be expected on all approach routes. * Approaching Stradbally on the M7 southbound motorists should exit at J16 Portlaoise East to the Ballydavis Interchange. From the M7 northbound exit at J17 Portlaoise Centre to the Togher Interchange.
